Hi, my name is Robert Whitehouse, Director of both Energy Efficient Homes and Whitehouse Builders. I have been building in New Zealand for 20 years and have gained my LBP, Master Builder and Passive House Trades Certification.
With a passion for healthy living, I believe health starts with your home. I want to share my knowledge for Passive House techniques to help improve the standards of our homes in New Zealand.
It is a personal mission of mine to help provide New Zealanders with warm, healthy, Energy Efficient Homes.
Hi, I’m Tania Dempsey, Project Manager for Energy Efficient Homes. I have been with the company for the past 7 years. I am a Registered ATTMA Blower Door Tester. My position as project manager involves overseeing the day to day building of your home while liaising with contractors and clients alike. If you have any questions, I’m the one to ask!

Our fully qualified Architects and Architectural Designers take their Passive House knowledge and apply it to all of their designs. Our team consists of NZRAB/NZIA architects and architectural designers and technicians.
Our builders are all trained in Passive House techniques – they understand the level of detail required during the building process and ensure each home is built to a high standard.
